Presentation of project "Modernization of Kramatorsk electric transport traction substation on 25 V O. Tikhogo st." took place in Kramatorsk on April 19, 2017. This project is implemented within the framework of the "Covenant of Mayors — Demonstration Projects" program and Kramatorsk has been participating in it since 2012.

The project financing:
  • 80% — the European Union grant;
  • 20% — the local budget.
The presentation was held in Kramatorsk City Council with representatives of the city administration, representatives of the EU "Mayors’ Agreement" program, local Municipal enterprise "Kramatorsk tram and trolleybus authority" and specialists of PLUTON.
Presentation of project
For the day there are five operating substations in Kramatorsk. It is the TS-1 traction substation that was chosen to be modernized. The substation is located on the territory of the tram depot and supplies a socially important route: connects the Old part of the city with the Sotsgorod part. The substation was put into operation in 1962. Equipment at the substation is morally obsolete, worn out and energetically inefficient, and requires constant presence of maintenance personnel.
Presentation of project
PLUTON, one of the leaders in the production of electrical equipment in the territory of Ukraine, won a tender for the supply of a three-unit modular substation for the modernization of the TS-1 traction substation.
Presentation of project
In 2017 PLUTON will supply the modern three-unit modular substation, manufactured using innovative technical solutions. This in turn will reduce operating costs and increase the service life of the equipment. Manufactured by PLUTON equipment meets international standards, ensures reliability of power supply, the safety of operation, and ease of maintenance.
