On May 16, 2018, Lviv (Ukraine), started the All-Ukrainian stage of the EBEC Challenge engineering competition with PLUTON as the official sponsor.
The EBEC Challenge is the greatest competition among students of European technical universities and was founded in 2002 by BEST (Board of European Students of Technology), a constantly growing non-profit and non-political organization. The purpose of the competition is to give students an opportunity to realize their potential in the field of engineering, to demonstrate creativity and unconventional thinking, as well as to show teamwork skills. Third-year and fourth-year students from Kyiv, Lviv, Vinnytsya, and Zaporizhzhia took part in the competition. The competitors split up into four teams, with four persons in each team. The competitions were divided into two categories — applicative and analytical.
The judges including PLUTON experts evaluated the performed tasks. After the competition was finished, the representatives of our company had a conversation with all teams, shared more detailed information concerning enterprise activity and services provided, as well as contact information for feedback.
Taking part in carrying out competitions of that kind and supporting talented students, PLUTON strives to contribute to the development of engineering education in Ukraine and the creation of innovative solutions, thereby representing the scientific and inventive potential of Ukraine around the world.
