Introduction of PLUTON innovative solutions for DC traction substations at the 6th Symposium on electric power systems in Izmir (Turkey)

The 6th Symposium on electric power systems took place from 16 to 19 October 2019 in Izmir (Turkey), where Alexey Tarasenko, a representative on behalf of PLUTON company, together with Eray Ergin, a representative on behalf of PLUTON Turkey, delivered the presentation devoted to innovative PLUTON solutions for DC traction substations. AFB arc-free ultra high-speed DC circuit breaker produced by PLUTON attracted a particular interest of other participants. Besides, turn-key traction substations for metro and light-rail transport were introduced too.

Tepekule Congress & Exhibition Center was chosen as the event location. In addition to equipment, technologies, and innovative solutions introduction, representatives of industrial companies and visitors also got the opportunity to visit the exhibition of engineering solutions in the field of electricity, electronics, power industry, lighting, as well as industrial automation, during 4 days.

In total, 57 domestic and international industry organizations took part in the Symposium, and the total number of skilled visitors equaled about 5,200 persons.
