Technical re-equipment of DC cubicles 825 V with replacement of high-speed circuit breakers
Kyiv Metro is the main high-speed transport system of the capital of Ukraine. Combining the best technologies and new achievements, the metro carries out transportation of 1.5 million passengers every day.
Kyiv Metro has 3 functioning lines with a total operating length of 67.6 km. 52 stations with 3 transport hubs located triangularly in Kyiv's historic center are at passengers' disposal.
PLUTON carries out a supply of equipment for Kyiv Metro traction substations since 1998. In 2004, at the "Syrets" station, were implemented for the first time PLUTON switchgears of the new generation. The new equipment allowed the implementation of the whole range of functions for simplification and reduction of maintenance and repair time. New PLUTON solutions allowed involving modern technologies, and as the result, new switchgears significantly outperformed outdated equipment in connection with all technical and operating characteristics.
Thereby, PLUTON became the first manufacturer of electrotechnical equipment in the post-Soviet area, which implemented modern switching components, technologies, automation tools, and world-class electronic protections.
Afterward, within 22 years were successfully implemented "turn-key" projects on equipment supply for 11 traction substations of Kyiv Metro.
In 2019 PLUTON carried out supply of RU-825LR switchgear (with line disconnector) for "Pecherska" station, magnetic station packages, as well as transformers and rectifiers for 10 stations, and carried out software development for operator's automated workstation of "Kharkivske" depot and workstation of shift signal electrical engineer on the basis of Citect SCADA system.
In 2021, PLUTON carried out repair of microprocessor centralization of signalling, centralization and blocking system hardware for signaling service of "Teremky", "Vasylkivska", "Holosiivska", "Vystavkovyi Tsentr", "Chervony Khutir", "Ipodrom" stations, and provided major repair of microprocessor centralization of signalling, centralization and blocking equipment of technical station with controllers replacement.
The same year, PLUTON carried out a supply of 54 retrofit packages for 12 electrical substations of Sviatoshynsko-Brovarska and Obolonsko-Teremkivska lines. Retrofit included:
- replacement of DC cubicles 825 V;
- replacement of high-speed circuit breakers;
- replacement of control, signaling, and protection circuits of traction substations.
