The new stations are located on the 8 km long Kuylyuk-Serhelyi section extending metro circle line. The circle line, running overland on an overpass, has become a convenient and fast transportation means for thousands of passengers in just a few years of its operation. Pluton became a part of this large-scale project and successfully implemented supply of four traction substations (TSS-7, -9, -11, -12), providing reliable and uninterrupted power supply to the most part of the new metro section.
Traction substations fully comply with international requirements and standards and are based on modern reliable equipment: high-efficiency rectifiers, DC switchgear, and contact network equipment (line disconnectors and cable connection devices). Implementation of a highly automated distribution network based on innovative equipment manufactured by Pluton allows to increase operational safety and efficiency of substations, significantly reduces the time for operational switching, and minimizes the risk of personnel errors.
Extension of the ground metro line is aimed at helping to relieve the traffic flows between different districts of Tashkent, since there are no other types of electric transport in the city.
We heartily congratulate Tashkent Metro on the opening of new stations and deeply appreciate the given to us opportunity to participate in the implementation of this important project for the city and its residents!
