Low level
Traction substations equipment (switchgears, rectifiers, auxiliaries equipment, etc.) control is carried out at low level on the basis of modern industrial controllers, built into equipment.
Equipment control and monitoring, as well as equipment protection functions are carried out by means of controllers.
All PLUTON substation equipment can carry out assigned data acquisition, data primary processing and control functions independently of the whole system status. This feature provides improvement of metrological characteristics — primary data processing is carried out at the signals occurrence location.
Application of modern industrial controllers almost completely eliminates personnel mistakes which can lead to emergencies or other after-effects.
